"Open in Google Scholar" / "Semantic Scholar"
I'd like to be able to quickly open a paper in google scholar and semantic scholar to search for citations.
This is a very basic feature in comparison to https://github.com/JabRef/jabref/pull/2189
We currently have "Search ShortScience". We should add "Search Google Scholar". Maybe even make the search engine selectable (because a user tends to have a single favourite site; not multiple ones). Moreover, the URL should be configurable. Reason: We cannot maintain JabRef for all site URLs; and the list of sites might be oppionated.

First try to get this implemented: https://github.com/JabRef/jabref/pull/8886
One really needs the comment at the linked pull request and come up with a proposal!
Aim: Get citation count (refs https://github.com/koppor/jabref/issues/168) and which papers are related.
Hello , can I kindly work on this issue ?

If someone looks into, the closed PRs should be really looked into. Especially https://github.com/JabRef/jabref/pull/13153
@takitakir Hi, sorry for taking your assignment. This was basically a solved issue which needed some minor fixes and resolution of merge conflicts, so the maintainers took it up. Please feel free to pick up any other good first issue, and apologies for the confusion.
