🌟 Private Event Mode / Early access ticket feature

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. First and foremost, I would like to say great job with this! I had some time to playaround with this and thought it would be nice to have a clear way to create a private event based on the promo code or simple password page before seeing event page or hides the event details until the private code is supplied. That way an admin could hide the location/extra details only until the ticket order has been processed (I added a few workarounds below to simulate this). Currently you can hide tickets that are revealed once a promo code is shown, which is great! although there are a few quality of life improvements that could help.

Describe the solution you'd like

• If all the available tickets are hidden behind a promo code, the "Have a Promo Code" link is also hidden, making it impossible to reveal any of them. The workaround for this is creating a placeholder ticket that is "sold out" to show the link
• i feel that the promocode link could be displayed above the Continue button or more prominently in some fashion
• or maybe create an early access code or something of that nature

• it would be nice to hide the location/address details until the private code is supplied. the workaround for this is adding fake placeholder details
• when converting a physical event to an online event, the location / map details still persist and it feels like those details should be removed?

• workaround for "private/secret event" is toggling the location details to an online event then adding the event location details there so it is only shown on the order summary / ticket page

Describe alternatives you've considered

• Maybe creating a secret code prompt/page that is displayed before being able to access the event page could resolve all of these. Similar to like an Early access feature
• I can see this also being addressed by sending the attendees of a ticket or all tickets the location details with the post checkout message/email footer settings of the event, but the workaround of the "online event" feels more right
• one could also create a basic auth on the reverse proxy level when exposing the event but that would be sitewide as opposed to just the event page

Great feedback, thank you! There are definitely some bugs there. Especially the inability to enter a promo code when there are no visible tickets.

Private event mode is a great idea. Adding an event password would be a nice option.
