Simulation Issue in FlexHopper Help..

Hello, Animation1

Firstly, I would like to express my gratitude for the amazing tool that FlexHopper is. It has been incredibly useful for our projects.

Currently, I am attempting to simulate rainwater flow to review gutter sizes. Previously, when working with files created in Revit and transfered to Rhino, I encountered no issues. However, after importing a SketchUp file into Rhino for this simulation, I am consistently facing an issue where the simulation passes through the mesh, as shown in the attached image.

I have also tried using the ShrinkWrap function in Rhino 8 to offset the mesh, but the problem persists. I am unsure if the issue lies with the mesh surfaces, as changing them did not resolve the problem either.

I am unsure where else to ask this question, so I am reaching out here in hopes that someone might be able to help me resolve this.

I have attached the Grasshopper script and the modeling files for reference. flexhopper_Q.zip

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,

I discovered that the simulation requires a TriMesh input, which was not initially clear. Additionally, adjusting the 'max acceleration' setting has proven to be crucial for controlling the flow, although it still tends to seep through the mesh.

Here's a brief gif showing the results after these adjustments. While the simulation is not perfect, with some tweaking, I managed to achieve a more controlled flow. Any insights or recommendations on how to improve mesh compatibility and simulation accuracy would be greatly appreciated.
