No arrows in submenus

As I updated to Big Sur, all my hammerspoon based menus lost the submenu arrow, making difficult to recognize if a menu item is a submenu or not. This is a sample hs menu with submenu opened:

How are you creating the menu? With a static menu table I get the disclosure glyphs:

Same problem using your sample code: hammersppon issue

The issue doesn't happen running on Mojave. This issue also occurs with two or three other apps. All the others work fine.
