Plugin System

Implement a plugin system so we can develop custom uploaders,

I could see a use case being wikis, blogs, helpdesk systems (freshdesk, zendesk, etc)

I meant to ask about this for awhile now. I know quite a few apps are doing it, did you have any hand's on experience dealing with this? Perhaps you know any open source projects that could help with the research/inspiration?

I don't personally, I know Greenshot has this capability. as well as many others
