Feature Request: Improved table filtering/sorting
Here are some improvement suggestions for making the plugin simpler to administer. Found it hard to cleanup redirects caused by #71 since the search gets reseted and you can't order the colums as well.
- After deleting a post, the current view gets reset. The current state (filter/query) should be "preserved" (with the deleted post of course missing)
- One should be able to order and/or filter the columns (for Redirects: Old URL | New URL | Wildcard | Redirect Type) to be make it easier to find common redirects.
- Add a possibility to check multiple posts for deletion
I was going to request the very same things. I'm involved in a new client release who are using this package and they have approx. 6.5K redirect rules. So losing the filter between operations or not being able to sort the redirect rules is making management of the rules problematic.
The rules are ordered alphabetically in the XML file I've uploaded and then have no visible order when using the interface.
I second this. Adding a new rule with no user feedback whatsoever, and that the newly added entry does not get added to the top of the table, is rather confusing.
I second all the suggestions in the top post! Having to manage 5k+ redirects with the views resetting and not being sortable is very frustrating.
I've updated #80 which had merge conflicts. Hopefully @marisks can have another look.
