Country page: combine or keep one filter area
Considering this page:
We end up having two areas of filters:
- the risk
- the submission state
It is unclear what is the value provided by showing "Missing" datasets, and thus, the necessity to display the "Show" filters.
My hunch would be to remove the "Show" filter and display a call to action to encourage the reader to contribute something about this country they have the knowledge of.
The reason why we did that is that not submitted dataset were not easily accessible/visible then.
But happy to consider other options.
Understood.
I'm now wondering what is the value to show not submitted dataset by default. If there is an incentive to show them in a different way to prompt for an action.
Yes, exactly.
I had some thoughts on this, since we now want to switch country score to 4 indicators (open, restricted, closed, unknow) it would be great to have the possibility to filter by those different indicators on dataset_list page with a specific call for action for each.
What do you think?

Actually I don't know, and that would be good questions to ask during user interviews :-)
It's not clear to me what is the expectation for this issue during iteration 4.
My initial hunch is there are too many filters and the further questioning raises a question mark on the value brought by filtering on the upcoming 4 indicators.
I don't know currently if people are likely to filter out absent data, or to display only absent data (depending on what is their intent).
If the goal is to raise a call to action on missing data, I would move the data out of the table and display a call to action to submit a new dataset.
Removed from iteration #4
