cromwell page doesn't mention PROOF server
Hi there,
I was trying to tell someone today about running WDLs at the Hutch and the first page we found was this one - https://sciwiki.fredhutch.org/compdemos/Cromwell/
At first I thought it didn't even mention the PROOF shiny app/server, which seemed like a big omission. But then I realized it does have a link just using an older URL cromwellapp.fredhutch.org that forwards to PROOF.
So two suggestions:
- I think it'd help the user find relevant resources if the PROOF server were linked more explicitly on that Cromwell page we landed on.
- Also would be good to link to this other page I found with a separate search, on using PROOF https://sciwiki.fredhutch.org/datascience/proof/
Thanks!
Janet
also during that same conversation I couldn't remember the name of the public repo with lots of ready-to-go WDL scripts.
Finally just found what I was looking for - https://github.com/getwilds/wilds-wdl-library
I think it's worth an explicit description of what that is - I only found the link because I'd hear the WILDS acronym before and saw it - if I hadn't know that's what it was called, I don't think I would have understood how useful it is.
I say this lovingly - I find this a general problem: y'all really love your cute acronyms but I can never remember what any of them are! New users need it all spelled out with recognizable words, not acronyms
thanks!
Janet
