I quoted this feature request because I think this could resolve the user's issue on #47. Also, I mentioned that this feature is developed in the open source App KISS, although I am not sure Java code can help you in developing a feature in Kotlin.

+1 for custom icons. Some are terrible and I work better with my system being sympathetically themed.

I'd like to chime in here that this feature is practically a requirement on Android eink devices like the Boox Palma. Fossify is a remarkably eink friendly launcher already, but without custom icons I can't quite make it my default.

Would it be possible to just reshape adaptive icons, without having to create/download an entire theme? In particular, to control the border radius (Samsung, for example, makes them way too round).
