Add an option to the Program plugin to set an interval to automatically reindex program sources

Every time I install programs in the custom program source, I always need to go to the plugin settings to reindex.

I would appreciate that the program sources are reindexed automatically with the following options: Automatically Reindex:

• On program load
• Daily
• Weekly

This shouldnt be the case. When a program is installed flow should automatically pick it up. Is this not the case for you?

For Win32 apps in the custom paths which are not added in program sources, FL cannot automatically update and reindex. Maybe we can take this into consideration.

@jorap I wonder if this can help. If you install application in one custom path, you can add it to program source in the list box. And all programs in this path will be indexed automatically.

It is already configured for the folder I use. The folder contains portable programs, meaning some programs are not installed using an installer. There are cases when shortcuts in these folders do not appear in the search. I need to manually reindex for the shortcuts to appear. That is why I am asking to reindex automatically on a daily or weekly basis.
