BUG: Can't change plugin settings, automatically reverting to previous values

Problem Description

Every time I try to change plugin settings, they get reverted back to what they were before. home assistant manager and currencyPP are among those affected

To Reproduce

1. Try to change a plugin setting
2. it changes back to what it was before

Have you changed both the settings.json & settings.json.bk? If you just changed settings.json, it will be restored to original version
