Server Object Extension and Server Object Interceptor (SOE/SOI) missing

As an administrator who wants to automate everything, I need an API to handle my Server Object Extension / Server Object Interceptor. Currently, I have no possibility to upload, register, unregister, enable or disable an extension on a GIS server using ArcGIS API for Python.

As an alternative, I will reverse engineer the workflow using ArcGIS Server Manager UI.

Is this features planned for a future release or rejected?
