Hi there,

Does anyone know how to enable all the functions in the Open Street Map Toolbox in ArcGIS 10.3? A few of the tools are usable but most are not for me. Any information is much appreciated!

Thanks

All tools are designed to work at the basic license level. Additional license levels might be required if your load target is an enterprise geodatabase, but the all tools should be available at all levels. My guess would be that you are potentially running a mixed (32, 64-bit) geoprocessing environment. As a first step, I would suggest you test if the tools become available when the geoprocessing environment is restricted to the foreground process. In the menus, go to GeoProcessing > GeoProcessing Options.. and then disable the Background Processing checkbox. If this fixes the your issue, then please uninstall the current version of the tools and install the 64bit version. After that you can re-enable the background processing.

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, it still has the tools X’ed out. Do you have any other suggestions I can try?

Thanks a bunch, Zack

Zack, unfortunately the picture didn't make it. Could you post it into the GitHub thread?

Thanks,

Hey Thomas, This one should work.

With the background processing disabled, what happens if you double-click "Download OSM Data" versus double-click "Load OSM File"?

Was this ever resolved? I'm having the exact same issue.

Assuming that the 64bit vs 32bit installer issue mentioned above has been taken care of, what is the error message?
