Can't connect to Wifi from Oxide
Describe the bug I always have to connect to Wifi through Xochitl instead of in Oxide. Oxide's Wifi window scans correctly but doesn't let me connect, neither to eduroam nor to my iPhone's hotspot. These are networks I have saved on the device and can connect to using Xochitl.
Currently the way I get around this is by switching to Xochitl connecting to the network, then switching back to Oxide. After this, even after killing Xochitl, I am connected. Sometimes in Xochitl I have to forget the network and log in again, but that might be eduroam weirdness at play.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- In oxide, open the Wifi screen by tapping the Wifi icon
- Click 'scan'. It should work fine and show networks, both new and remembered.
- Click 'join' on one of them
- Nothing happens
Expected behavior The selected network should become connected and the Wifi icon should change to indicate a signal.
Version Information:

Additional context Logs:
tarnish_log.txt (around line 10171 has wifi stuff)
btw, stamen half is the SSID of my iPhone's Wifi hotspot. If I'm not connected to that I usually connect to my college's eduroam network.
Do you know what authentication method it uses? Oxide has extremely rudimentary wireless handling and only really works with open networks or wpa.
@qubist have you had a chance to follow up on this? It's been quite a long while.
@qubist any chance you can provide further information? If not, I will be closing this issue the next time I prune the issues list.
The log files you uploaded no longer exist, so I can't even poke at them to see if I can gather any further information I missed previously.
