Another unpopular suggestion: RNG Manipulation on Drops

I think this is getting ridiculous. But I'm trying to throw out some of the ideas I've come up with, to see if they're possible or not.
Well, in relation to this idea. Is there any possibility of modifying the drops that mobs or animals make when they are killed (more powder when a creeper is killed, more porkchop when a pig is killed,...)
Although, it might break up the enjoyment of the game.
Another thing I've been considering for a while to take a stab at, just never got round to it.
