Is flux_atmOcn_diurnal still used?

I notice you still have flux_atmOcn_diurnal in shr_flux_mod.F90 and we still have it too. Does this code still have any purpose? I think it was part of the diurnal cycle param when ocean coupling frequency was 1/day.
