Need for generic mode for data atmosphere

I am trying to create a generic mode for datm like copyall in docn. This will be used for replacement of ATMMESH used in CoastalApp and initially provide only Sa_pslv, Sa_u10m and Sa_v10m fields but we could extend it later. Please let me know if you have any suggestion @jedwards4b @mvertens.
