wave elevation

When I want to output the wave elevation, using waveelevation in measuretool can only not output the correct result. The output result is the Z coordinate of the point I defined. How can I solve this problem?

I'm sorry, I'm not so sure of what exactly do you want to output, but it seems you want the difference from the Z coordinate of the wave and the floor on that point. I'm not sure if MeasureTool can do that.

Please ask this in the DualSPHysics forum

Thank you for your reply。Because I'm calculating a 2D sink, I need a wave surface elevation with a specific X coordinate. So I have a question about what data is output from the calculation wave elevation option in measuretool?

There's some info on how to use measuretool in the official DualSPHysics wiki. About what that option does it uses the flag "-height" while running the executable.

I don't know the specifics on that as I'm only the developer for the GUI software, you should ask about that (or what the "-height" option does in measuretool) in the DualSPHysics Forums
