V540TND & V560TNE: No Sleep options in Windows 11 when sleep type set to s3

How to reproduce

On V540TND or V560TNE:

  1. Enable ME
  2. Set sleep type to S3
  3. Boot Windows 11
  4. Check power menu, try to enable Sleep from system settings or try to assign it to power button or a hotkey

Expected behavior

Sleep option available for S3 (as it is for S0ix) and working.

Actual behavior

No sleep settings in s3 mode.

In my case the sleep option is actually available, and the laptop suspends, but does not wake up properly. Just boots again.

Seems to only happen if NVIDIA graphics are enabled. Otherwise S3 is working correctly.

It’s an expected issue. We have already documented this behavior here: https://docs.dasharo.com/dasharo-menu-docs/dasharo-system-features/#power-management-options

S3 sleep mode may not be working well with Windows for machines newer than 11th generation Intel Core processors. S0ix will not work properly if ME is disabled.
