how to change language? I installed with the option APEX_ADDITIONAL_LANG=it # but it always remains in English. also set Shared Components\ Edit Globalization Attributes \ Application Primary Language and Application Language Derived From. tried also Language Mappings but without success...

do you see that language selector bar in your APEX development environment?

For you, only english & italian should be there...

The language scripts shipped with APEX only installs this additional language for APEX itself, so APEX Builder, Administration, SQL Workshop and so on. Additionally standard components like the action menu of Interactive Reports etc. got also translated...All the rest of your own application must be translated by yourself. You'll find these settings under Shared Components > Globalization
