cannot paste more than 30 characters of text into image descriptions

a couple of times now i've posted images that are text heavy. i would have the text copied to my clipboard using the OCR highlight/copy function in photos only to find out when i try to paste it into the image description field, it doesn't actually paste. it just tells me that it does (Toot! pasted from Photos). meanwhile the text pastes fine elsewhere.

further testing seems to tell me this happens for larger amounts of text from any source, not just from OCR'd images. if i paste more than roughly 30 characters (might be 32, perhaps? 32's a cool number) nothing appears at all.

I have the same problem, and here a screenscast if it can help. I thought it was because it’s was multi-lines but haven’t count the characters number so it can probably be that.
