Warn when too many tabs open

I would like to be warned when I have too many tabs open in order to prevent performance (i.e. CPU and memory consumption) and manageability (i.e. loosing overview, loosing focus) issues.

I usually have several pinned tabs, so I would only count "normal" tabs for this feature. To me 10 or 15 "normal" tabs are still manageable. (Other people might have different preferences.) If the number goes higher, I should probably clean up, bookmark and close tabs I will not look at for some time -- from experience it is unlikely that I will look at the older tabs at least for some time. The clean up should not be automatic, as sometimes I am actually using several dozen tabs at a time (but after I am done with that task, I should clean up). This feature would in essence just serve as a reminder, a visual hint that it is time to close some tabs.
