First of all:

Great work, thanks for providing that.

Just a minor remark:

The build instruction on README.md,

docker build -t consol/centos-xfce-vnc centos-xfce-vnc

seems odd, shouldn't it be

docker build -t consol/centos-xfce-vnc -f Dockerfile.ubuntu.xfce.vnc .

Everything else was fine.

And another question:

Do you have centos:8 somewhere on the roadmap? Let me know if yes, I am working on it.

Concerning the centos-8 question:

Just remove the numpy from src/centos/install/tools.sh

And change the Dockerfile to the obvious FROM centos:8

Starting the container in detached mode does not work yet If you shell into it it's OK. Update on this one follows.

GREAT. Helps me moving from RHEL7 to RHEL8. We used mate desktop in RHEL7, which was dropped in RHEL8, I believe.
