mpv-sub-select "sub.external" for plex not working ?

Hi,

Firstly, I thank you for your great work, sir. Your script seems to also work for plex, but for plex, the script won't select sub.external even though it works for mpv? I would appreciate it if you could please help me?

yes plex is loading external subtitles. When I cycle subtitles with keyboard I see that the subtitle is added.

I have a tvshow and my folder structure is like e.g. "video-ep01.mkv" "video-ep01.mks"

with mpv this works fine but with plex it doesn't?

But are the subtitles actually listed as external according to mpv? Plex may be loading the subtitles in such a way that they appear to be internal to mpv.
