KB: Configure Windows AD authentication
Should we have this in the docs or KB?
@rfraposa . We have the LDAP reference docs with an Active Directory example: https://clickhouse.com/docs/zh/operations/external-authenticators/ldap
However, it is rarely enough so we have a few options:
- KBs with simple example, screenshots from windows, simple config to log in and auth to windows AD, etc. this would be quickest/easiest but not comprehensive, just to get started, user-guide style. we start with this with a few examples, individual accounts, role mapping, etc.
- Docs page dedicated to Windows Auth would take longer for intro, multiple uses, examples, use-cases. not simple, more formal formatting, refined.
- blog for AD integration easy conversation, highly visible/marketed at first but may age quickly and not be maintained for changes.
Maybe start with use-case or tutorial KBs at first.. compile then get a Windows docs section going. possibly after that, blog? or maybe blog before docs? WDYT?
