Duplicate check

What should be added? Check if a channel is already on the list and warn the user.

Why should it be added? Once you have a big list being monitored it gets easy to make an error and add the same channel twice.

This isn't a bad idea, would also like the option to turn that warning off.

I don't see any reasons why having duplicate tabs is a problem, there are indications when two different tabs light up when you get pinged, as well as the quick-switcher (CTRL+K) showing two entries.

Note: on the current stable (2.4.4) having duplicate tabs does break channel-search, but that was fixed and will be available in 2.4.5
