Punctuation Missing

Unless I didn't read the instructions carefully, I had assumed that either:

  • puntucation would be added automatically, OR
  • the speech-to-text converter would recognize key words like "comma", "period"

Neither of these options seems to be working.

Hello IMTanuki,

The speech-to-text functionality is performed by the web browser exclusively, I have no control over it. So whether the browser adds punctuation or not is not up to my extension. You can try independent demos of the speech-to-text API like here: https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/demos/speech.html

Some users have suggested that I should implement Whisper which is an OpenAI API for speech recognition. However it's not free as far as I know. But with Whisper I assume there would be punctuation.

Recommend use Microsoft Dalia Online(Natural) - Spanish (Mexico) for microsoft edge since it has the voices of azure, it would be nice to include the automatic selection of the best voices ia (online) if it is installed in microsoft edge since these voices sound very natural
