After Using UWPHook My Controller Not Recognized

Hi...I used UWPHook to import the Forza Horizon 4 game into Steam today and initially everything seemed ok and was working. However...a number of hours later, after shutting down and restarting my pc I tried booting up Forza again but this time my Xbox1 controller was no longer recognized by the game. It only recognizes my keyboard now. How can I reverse whatever UWP may have done?

I've already removed and reinstalled the controller several times and I even uninstalled the Forza game and reinstalled it but the game will not recognize the controller now no matter what I do. The controller works fine in all my other games. Only the game in which I used UWP is no longer recognizing the controller. Please keep in mind that for 2 years now I have never had any issue like this with Forza. The controller has always been recognized within the game.

*Edit - by the way, this issue persists even when starting the game using it's own default shortcut, and NOT the new Steam shortcut

Although I don't see how UWPHook could have altered your controller functionality, here's how to undo what UWPHook has done:

1. Open Steam->Library
2. Right-click on the game in the list of games on the left and choose "Manage"
3. Left click on "Remove non-Steam game from your library"
