Add introduction page in place of home page

Home page is hard for a new user to understand what the library is. Possible modifications could be moving the "Getting Started" information to a separate page and making the home page a way to quickly and easily understand the applications and importance of the library. The home page should act as marketing for the product itself, so that people will use it. Assume the person on the page doesn't already know what the project is.
