403 Forbidden Error Thrown with message "Failed: Deploying service backend"

A customer has attempted to deploy this application. They were able to successfully provision all the resources. However, a 403 forbidden error was thrown at the step azd deploy which I believe is related to the deployment (publish) of the web application / pushing the code to the app service.

Specifically, the error occurred during the deployment of the application service backend.

I attempted to deploy and was successful. I did not encounter any issues and can't repro the issue of customer. Is there any missing configuration that needs to be set? Appreciate your assistance on the above.

Expected/desired behavior

Successful deployment of application.

Windows 7, 8 or 10. Linux (which distribution). macOS (Yosemite? El Capitan? Sierra?)

Can you mention what is the azd version you are using (run azd version) and the OS version.

Have you tried running with latest azd version?
