[Accessibility] Contact Form Edit and Close options are not found in screen reader.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Start in the classic editor for a page/post that has a contact form in it.
  2. Start the Mac's Voiceover screen reader.
  3. Select the contact form.

What I expected

I expected the screen reader to read out the Edit and Close icons shown in this screenshot.

What happened instead

The Voiceover did not read out the Edit or Close icons.

Browser / OS version

Mac OS Catalina version 10.15.4

Customer is using JAWS and NVDA on Windows.

I believe the origin of the issue is similar to this one's.

To paraphrase my comment in that issue (https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/12574#issuecomment-1863339109), the problem is caused by the Classic Editor. At this time, we've chosen to focus on the Gutenberg editor, but contributions are still welcome.

Removing from The One Board based on this being a classic editor issue.

I am closing this. Since this is effecting the classic editor only and it is something that needs to be fixed in core. Which is where the Pencil and Close buttons are defined.
