Just tested Kubeflow 1.6.1 using aws repo on a test cluster (`rds-s3-cognito`) and I can see the logs.  Closing this issue as a "cannot reproduce".

@ryansteakley Is this fixed for Kubeflow 1.7 if we deploy using RDE-S3-Cognito terraform?
