Hmm isn't this going to be confusing since you start with a token set but blocking not it could say "dry mode" log statement and then after sync with cloud it says "nope not dry mode" or am I missing something?

I would log when there was no communication with the dashboard/token not set what the status is, and if token is valid wait on service config response
