Description

When using wputility and entering debloat then disable microsoft telemetry and starting it throws an error: Modifying registry to disable microsoft windows telemetry and tracking. ERROR: Access is denied. This happens when running wputility as administrator

Can you give me the version of Windows 10 / 11 you are running. Also is the windows account you are using a normal user, or do you have admin permissions for that account.

I'll have to try and replicate your setup as close as possible on a VM so that I can take a look. I've never ran into that particular issue.

If you could also give me the steps in order of how to get this error.

Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 25H2 It says my user is an administrator i get the error when: When using wputility and entering debloat then disable microsoft telemetry and starting it throws an error: Modifying registry to disable microsoft windows telemetry and tracking. ERROR: Access is denied. This happens when running wputility normally or as administrator.
