started ... (Issue #2771) - now hear ...
Sorry, the link above for Instruction is not working: Firefox whines about the script despite the Java Script being turned on and MS Edge doesn't show any link underlining, so I can't choose a browser ...
So I can't send an error report either. What a pity!
The computer magazine c't only praised this browser add-on over others in one of its last issues ...
So this problem will be solved quickly. :-) Right?
@Nikaspar Можете открыть эту страницу в firefox https://firefox-storage-test.glitch.me, где расширение не работает и поделиться результатами сюда или прямо в ишью https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1885297#c10

Hi, what is the status of this issue? I am still experiencing it on Firefox 125.0.1 (64 bit). My operating system is Manjaro Linux. Adguard version is 4.3.46.

The issue has not been resolved yet. If you are experiencing similar problems, could you please share your symptoms as described in the Mozilla bug tracker issue?

@maximtop Пришлось переустанавливать систему, соответсвенно ff тоже новый и проблема исчезла, так что больше нечего показывать
Hello,
what I have observed so far is that the new PC versions of FF and Librewolf do not deactivate AdGuard when exiting the program.... But the portable version from portableapps.com does.
All I know is that the portable version is being tweaked. It's possible that "this forgetting" has something to do with it.
With this in mind, my feedback and greetings, Skywriter
I'm experincing the same issue. My adguard settings don't save and all the changes I make turn off even while I'm browsing, but also whenever I close FF and reopen it later.
For those who would like to help, here are the instructions:
...
Thank you in advance for your help!
I am attaching my results here:

Here you go:
For the time being, I uninstalled the add-on, restarted Firefox, reinstalled the add-on and will be seeing if this fixes the issue. So far, after restarting Firefox after i reinstalled the add-on, it seems that the settings were saved since it had the ad Blocking filter enabled instead of having it be disabled like it was doing it before. I will be updating you all if my issue comes back or if I am enjoying a stable fix throughout the following day or 2.
Here you go:

So my Adguard is back to normal after I reinstalled it. I was able to import my settings and so far, I have not experienced any issues with filters turning off by themselves, and my settings save properly now after I make any changes.
I will let you all know if the issues come back.
Hi, I can confirm. Uninstalling Adguard extension and reinstalling it again fixes my problems. Thanks for the suggestion.
Hi guys I experienced the same issue for few months, but after reinstalling the Adguard extension, the problem disappeared.
Once again: The portable version of FF 126.0 permanently and persistently disables the activation of this add-on.
The above link has been unusable for months: https://firefox-storage-test.glitch.me/
and is acknowledged with the following error message: Investigating... If this doesn't go away, things are unexpectedly broken.
Or I get the error message:
JavaScript must be enabled in order to use Notion. Please enable JavaScript to continue.
although JavaScript is switched on.
New status on 02-06-2024
I managed to reinstall FF portable with many addons and personal settings and ... The settings will no longer be forgotten!
With this in mind, thanks to the AdGuard team and goodbye, Skywriter
- Firefox 127.0.1 (installed) Windows 11 Pro: AdGuard (4.3.53) extension settings are reverted to default when navigating any page
- This happens about every 50 seconds or so, sometimes a little more
- I tried to open the two consoles and to type in the six commands described above but I got no results
- https://firefox-storage-test.glitch.me/ is a non-existent page
Now I have removed and reinstalled the extension, as suggested here. I'll see how it will go.
Similar problem here. Started after a recent FF update a few days back. Debian/Linux. did the glitch.me thing (which is working) and that reports no issues. Oddly it does not lose all the settings just one page - could Mozilla be 'adjusting' the settings to turn off add-blocking?
Anything you want me to try or info to gather before I nuke the install? I can put up with it for a couple days..... I've been simply re-loading the settings from a backup.
