Emacs 25.3 says this is an obsolete package...
Emacs 25.3 (on Ubuntu) says:
vue-html-mode is an obsolete package.
Status: Obsolete in ‘vue-html-mode-20180104.1421/’ (unsigned).
Version: 20180104.1421
Summary: Major mode for editing Vue.js templates
Homepage: http://github.com/AdamNiederer/vue-html-mode
Keywords: languages vue template
Other versions: 20180104.1421 (melpa).
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but that didn't help.
I haven't been able to understand what makes a package obsolete (or 'incompat'), and was wondering if you knew, or if there was some action I needed to take to make this package work again on my emacs.
Are you using vue-mode from melpa stable? It sounds like a rerelease would fix this.
Hmm, go figure, at this point emacs is saying 20180104.1611 is installed. Did you take any action? I notice the version is different, but the date(?) portion of the version number indicates it's still from several months back.
Well, thanks for taking a look at this, and apologies and nevermind then I guess, unless you have any insight into what an obsolete or incompat package is and what I as a user am supposed to do about that because the emacs doc is frustratingly silent on it all.
