Add configuration to expand negative prompt

Open Aersel999 opened this issue 9 months ago • 2 comments

I make heavy use of negative prompt and it becomes quite hard to see what is there because its always 1 line. It would be nice to have an option that allows to decide how many lines the negative prompt text region is just like the positive one. Maybe 1 on/off setting to turn this on and off and another setting for the amount of lines.

You can add most or all of these to the Style. They will be applied without always taking up space.

It's 1 line because more is usually not helpful (or at least there are better ways to influence generation result than tweaking negative prompt)

Considering that you don't know a user's resolution, scaling, or docker size ahead of time... you don't know how much text that is for 1 line for anyone but yourself. Your 1 line might be someone else's 2 lines. All of my negative prompts end up longer than 1 line, and trying to append anything to the end is always a headache.

Also, opening up the configuration window to append the negative prompt every time is annoying. Especially considering what you need in the negative prompt varies by checkpoint, lora, prompt, canvas/selection dimension... most people will be adding to it over time, not all at once.

You can tell people they shouldn't be using the negative prompt for more than a few tokens in the first place, but that's just not the reality of how most people use it. Making the text box height scalable just makes it easier to use.
