[Bug]: Corrupted OpenRV stage application on third party version update

What happened?

When someone increases the version of a third-party dependency or a rvpkg, the new version get added next to the previous version in the build directory, and it can cause issues.

Ideally, it would either magically work, or the build system should be able to tell that the build directory needs to be regenerated.
