Yes, `/var/` is symlinked to another drive! I really don't know how you figured this out but I can't really fix it either since I really don't have enough disk...

I'm getting the same issue on macOS with Chrome, Firefox and Safari

@hexpwn I just solved it by installing `network-manager-applet` from the arch repos and starting it. I have no idea why it works, but when nm-applet is running, everything works flawlessly.

You have to have a config directory+file in order for the error to go away
