Language-dependent score display

What feature do you want to suggest to the game?

Score displays should be translated when moving to other languages. Currently, the display doesn't change when moving to other languages.

How a score is represented on the leaderboard is determined by the scoreDisp function in the mode file. Considering mode files aren't a part of the remake, there is no need to REMAKE-tag this.

I think adding more words to language files then use text.lines instead of "Lines" will work

Also, I am thinking about adding descriptions of the languages in the language selection scene based on the current language.

Like this:

简体中文    Chinese
繁體中文    Chinese (Traditional)
Français  French
Español   Spanish

Speaking of which, I did some research and found out that the “thousand separators” and “decimal points” are different across languages;

For example for the number “11451.41”, it may become:

  • 11 451.41 (space & period, internationally recommended and used in textbooks)
  • 11,451.41 (comma & period, used in English-speaking countries and many other places)
  • 11.451,41 (period & comma, used in many non-English speaking European countries)

Same. Localizations. MrZ is not a huge fan on that but I would still advocate it.
