Hard to tell when AVIM is disabled in Komodo 9 using default color scheme

In Komodo IDE 9 and Komodo Edit 9 (#127), with the default color scheme, the status bar is silver on black. When disabled, AVIM’s status bar indicator is doubly struck through, but the horizontal lines are rather difficult to discern:

The double strike-through effect is supposed to be subtle because it’s also used in Firefox’s toolbar, where anything more would have the potential to distract. But this is too subtle. A change of color may be warranted here – or better yet, a big X stretched over the status bar panel.
