going from 5.7 to 7.6.0, no changes that impact us.

ncp had no direct users. not sure why its there. removed.

3.1.2 published a day ago. we are updating from v2, there was no changes for years and now it's an active project again.

this is a major version upgrade but the library claims it made no breaking chages. will try just upgrading it.

quite some changes since last updated. removable instead. nodejs can now do what we used to use it for.

node-forge is already at this with only a package-lock bump.

only 1 usage, requires change from safeLoad() to load(), no problem.

i take that back, it should be removed. js-yaml and yaml do the same thing basically.
